JUPITER, FL - February 26, 2018 - As the unofficial zoo of Jupiter, the Busch Wildlife Sanctuary has been providing real wildlife experiences and educating the South Florida community about the captivating creatures that inhabit our neck of the woods for nearly 35 years. This year, there is a new Executive Director taking the reins of the Sanctuary, and her name is Amy Kight.
A 13-year veteran of the organization, Amy served as Volunteer Coordinator, Outreach Director, and Animal Care Director before being named Executive Director. In her new role, Amy hopes to bring greater awareness to the wildlife refuge.

“Busch Wildlife has been in Jupiter for many years, yet we often hear that we are a hidden gem. While that is a wonderful compliment, I would really like to drop the ‘hidden’ part,” notes Amy. “I feel it is important for our community to know that they have a wonderfully unique refuge that combines a community nature and educational center with a wildlife hospital right in their neighborhood.”
