JUPITER, FL – January 3, 2018 – Food is not just food. Food is an experience, an instigator of the senses, a way of expression, but more importantly, a form of love. South Florida’s “Culinary Diva” and William Sonoma’s “Catch the Spirit” award-winner, Chef Maude Eaton, vivaciously lives by those beliefs.

With a refined palate and her French, Cuban, and Persian background while growing up in the “Big Apple” and Washington D.C., she became enamored with culinary culture and knew it was the path she was meant to pursue. Beginning her studies at the Institute of Culinary Education in New York, she became infatuated with taking many culturally and skillfully diverse courses in order to be able to master any cuisine.

“I fell in love with the culinary world. I would take intensive courses with New York’s prestigious chefs such as Michael Romano and Eric Ripert. I wanted to learn it all,” says Chef Maude.

In 2003, she took her talents to South Florida, infiltrating with her New York culinary experience. Referring to herself as a “foodie”, she started her own business “For The Love of Food,” and began working at William Sonoma teaching cooking classes. Today, Maude is the Culinary Director and Chef Instructor at the Palm Beach Gardens store where she teaches groups of all ages and has pioneered a cooking program for special needs children. In 2008, she became the Culinary Director of Education at Salamander Hospitality in Palm Beach instructing courses, and was the brand ambassador for the Palm Beach area.

One of her specialty dishes is made of locally grown organic heirloom tomatoes, handmade burrata, italian olives, drizzled with a luscious extra virgin olive oil and droplets of 25-year-old balsamic vinegar

From there she began to curate events with local chefs, market up-and-coming culinary entrepreneurs, and became a co-founder of the recognized Facebook page “South Florida Foodies” and the pop-up dinner club “Saffron Supper Club,” which earned her the title of “Top 50 Food Influencers” by the Miami Herald in 2016.

“We all come as strangers and leave as friends,” explains Chef Maude. “Everything I have done is for the love of food, hence the name of my company.”

Combining her diverse cooking expertise with her fun, welcoming personality, Chef Maude teaches cooking courses to individuals or groups of all ages and skill levels, as well as caters small or large events in the comfort of client’s own homes or venues.

“In the kitchen and around the dinner table, traditions are built, memories are made, and love is expressed. Being able to teach or share that experience with others…there is no better feeling,” expresses Chef Maude.
