Fighting Cystic Fibrosis at Roger Dean Stadium
Palm Beach, FL - November 7, 2018 – CF Climb is a fun and unique event that empowers participants to step up and take the search for a cure for cystic fibrosis to new heights. Cystic fibrosis is a rare, genetic, life-shortening disease that affects every organ in the body and makes breathing difficult. Some people with the disease say it’s like breathing through a narrow straw. In people with CF, a defective gene causes a thick buildup of mucus in the lungs, pancreas, and other organs. Those living with this disease are moms, dads, sisters, brothers, daughters, sons, friends, and co-workers, all struggling every day just to breathe and live a normal, healthy life.
The Palm Beach CF Climb will be taking place Thursday, November 8 at Roger Dean Stadium in Jupiter, FL. Quantum Performance Training, a fundraising team participating in the Palm Beach CF Climb, will be climbing the 1,100 steps of Roger Dean Stadium in support of those struggling with CF. They are currently looking for donations and for more participants to join in the walk. By becoming a member of Team Quantum Performance Training and making a donation, you are joining a growing group of people committed to finding a cure for cystic fibrosis. Together, we can all add tomorrows to the lives of people living with CF by supporting the search for a cure.
About CF Climb
Online registration for this event is now closed. You can still register in person on the day of the event at the check-in table between 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm.
CF Climb is a challenging and unique fitness event where participants climb stairs in a tall building or around stadiums in a test of endurance. Whether climbing to improve timing or to simply cross the finish line, this event is a great way to spend the day with co-workers, friends and family while “Adding Tomorrows” for people with cystic fibrosis. At the end of the climb, participants celebrate at a survival party with delicious food and great entertainment.
Minimum Fundraising Requirement: $100
Minimum Pledge Requirement Policy:The minimum pledge requirement of $100 is due on or before event day. If you have met your minimum pledge by the day of the event, we encourage you to keep fundraising. Reach for the stars and earn great prizes. Even though the minimum is due by the day of the event, you have one month after the event to earn great CF Climb prizes. The average amount a participant raises is $330. Registration fees are non refundable and non transferrable and do not count towards your fundraising minimum.Thank you for adding tomorrows for people with cystic fibrosis.
