Casa Caña Celebrates Philanthropic Partnership With the Perry J. Cohen Foundation

TEQUESTA, FL – August 9, 2022 – To support Tequesta’s beloved coastal community, Casa Caña has selected the Perry J. Cohen Foundation (PJCF) to be their partner in philanthropy.

PJCF was established by Perry Cohen’s mother, Pamela Cohen, and his stepfather, Nicholas Korniloff, after their 14-year-old son tragically went missing at sea in July 2015. The Foundation was created to carry on Perry’s legacy and support what he was most passionate about, including the advancement of the arts, environmental, marine, and wildlife education and preservation, teenage entrepreneurship, and boating safety education.

“Tequesta is a tight-knit community, and as residents, we want to do everything we can to support each other, including local businesses,” said Pamela Cohen. “The Tequesta community has always been behind us, and we love that the town’s newest hot spot wants to help carry on Perry’s legacy.”

The 1960s Miami-inspired restaurant will donate 20% of their Sunday brunch proceeds to The Foundation. From 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. every Sunday, guests can savor Casa Caña’s famous wood-fired bagels, Latin-inspired breakfast dishes, custom brunch cocktails, and live music, while supporting a great cause.
