Raise a Glass for Earth Day!

JUPITER, FL – April 16, 2021 – Are you ready for Earth Day?! Let's raise a glass and celebrate this beautiful floating rock that we are all so honored to inhabit. Don't know what you want to to sip on? No worries, we're here to help you find the perfect drink produced by this fine planet.

Wine / natural wine from the country of Georgia: Georgia has produced natural wine for the past 8,000 years in their traditional qvevri: giant, hand-made clay pots buried in the ground up to their necks. Qvevri wines are “of the earth and from the earth,” and have a distinct, recognizable character. The white wines are amber (also known as “orange”) from extended skin contact; the reds are still red. Seek out a refreshing Mtsvane for spring, or a Saperavi for a flavorful yet low-tannin red.

Spirit / ZIGNUM Mezcal, from its Método Verde™ distillery in Oaxaca: One of the leading Mezcals in Mexico and Mexican duty free, ZIGNUM’s Joven, Reposado, and Añejo gain consistent acclaim for being exceptionally smooth and easy-to-drink, with the latter two having added flavor complexity from oak aging far beyond minimum legal requirements. The distillery collects rainwater, purifies wastewater for irrigation and distillery use, and uses solar panels, among many other environmental and social initiatives.
