Grand Reopening Honors the Past and Redefines the Future

West Palm Beach, Fla. – Bear Lakes Country Club is sporting a classy and comfortable, new clubhouse. The West Palm Beach club just completed a $9.2 million renovation to put its amenities on par with its world-class golf courses and tennis courts. On Saturday, November 17, the Clubhouse will reopen to its members with a mission: to deliver a new level of excellence in service, dining, and socializing. Bear Lakes Country Club opened in 1984 and features two, 18-hole courses designed by golf legend Jack Nicklaus. The Golden Bear and his wife Barbara will take part in the Club’s grand reopening, along with longtime member and former PGA TOUR Champions star Dana Quigley, and West Palm Beach District 2 City Commissioner Cory Neering. 

“When it comes to golf, no name commands more respect than Jack Nicklaus,” says Bear Lakes Country Club President Kevin Richardson. “Our courses are known and sought after by golfers of all levels because they want to play on courses designed by the man who has won a record 18 professional major championships and has created some of the most iconic courses and venues in the world. We are so honored to have him give his blessing as we refresh and rebrand ourselves to meet the growing demands of our current and future members.”

Bear Lakes’ renovated and updated 22,000-square-foot Clubhouse includes three dining options; fully stocked golf and tennis pro shops; and top-of-the-line men’s and ladies’ locker rooms. The grand opening party will relaunch Bear Lakes Country Club as the private club to belong to in the heart of Central West Palm Beach.
